Bone Loss results from untreated periodontal disease, as the bacteria spread beyond your gumline. If you lost a tooth due to periodontal disease, proper treatment would be advised, followed by a Dental Implant recommendation which may be the best option for you.

Who are the candidates for periodontal maintenance?
At Pines Village Dental of Pembroke Pines, our dentist and periodontist have years of experience treating all types of periodontal disease. They will diagnose and provide you with the appropriate periodontal treatment based on your current oral health or the stage of your periodontal disease. X-rays may also be taken for further evaluation. After your evaluation, scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) may be recommended.
